Need some advice on a greed/flamethrower build

OK this is my first cter playing with sacred and i'm going 2 make a mf dwarf first so that i can mf items for other cters. Ok now i got a reasonable idea but in case there something I missed or somthing better I wanted some more experience advice.

Well, I copied this from another thread here (http://forums.clan-da.com/showthread.php?t=1990) that I posted - thought it would be easier rather than rewriting lol.

Here's a quick run down on my dwarf that's in Niob.

I made this dwarf to be able to shop and forge while still being able to survive. The Thar Eross set ring is perfect for this build as it has +XX to Trading and Forge Lore as well as special item find.

My dwarf (Elita calls him my warm breeze dwarf ) is in Niobium and uses Flamethrower and Cannonblast.

Skills:

Trading - keep at level or higher until you're able to boost with items
Weapon Lore - keep maxed
Constitution - higher the better
Dwarven Lore - mid to high
Weapon Technology - mid to high
Forge Lore - higher the better until you're able to boost with items
Armor - mid to high
Parrying - mid to high


Attrib. Pts.: all in Physical Regen to help reduce regen times

CA's:

Flamethrower - for mobs (regen time ~2.5s, at least lower than 5s)
Cannonblast - for single enemies (regen times 1s)
Greed & War Cry - for more special find and defense

Dwarven Armor would be a great addition or Entrench. More defense? Why not? :)

He really didn't take off until I got the Thar Eross armor, allowing me to put points into defensive skills. Once I found that, the build kinda took off. He finds treasure and makes money like you wouldn't believe.

Hi there..

Love the dwarf and have two flame boys with just one difference. That is one is going to take trading and one forge lore. Both at the same time is not recommended by me but definately be done as Sirquester has proof of :).
The reason is you will not be able to take Axe Lore and you invest to many points into trading and forging giving less damage.

Yes in theory you dont need to put many points into forge lore and trading if you have amassed thar eross set but this is you first dwarf and you will
need to find them/get them from other players.

And yes i know this link says take both trading and forge lore (it was my first attempt and i am abit wiser :). My suggestion is that you replace either trading or forgelore with axe lore for fadalmars axe.

Regarding combo suggestion abit later on when you have amassed some greed runes is Greed,war cry and dwarven steel (in that order is important for best defence).

If you see me online give me a shout as i have many good low level items for your dwarf. Ps ill even throw in a thar eross armor for you..

Ps a small tip is to put about 10 points into weapon tech asap as it will speed up yous right hand side CA:s execution abit.

Well i got the full thar eross et now and is up to lvl 110 with around 800+ mf..finding great gear..flamethwoers still owning gold. And have found endless runes...i'm in the process of maxin trading.....forge /trade around 150

That's great to hear Glow. :) There's nothing better than some more Sedulous rings to max Trading and Forging and the added bonuses of more mf and critcal hit makes them perfect for this build.

Myself, I need to raise my Greed - nope, not maxed yet believe it or not lol.

Thanks for the update Glowpole. L110 is good for a dwarf, which skills did you go with in the end? Sounds like you took both Trade and Forge?

Whats the stats on those rings?? Sound interesting. But I finally got him to 116 now. started a we ^^) So i ahvn't lvled much further but he been a great asset in finding my gear. I can do solo on plat right now with 6-8 peeps. Life leech is a life savior. i can even kill the draogns in plat with good footwork ^^.

Well i kinda went a lil hybrid with him in case of high res fire critters..

I use cb/dwar in a combo. it works aswome against single creatures like giant spiders dragons ect.

I will start getting cb/dwar high lvls after i get +800 form greed ^^.


I've found such a greta mf run. I found around 20-30 + items a run. I'll make another thread for it.

Take a look at the attachment, it a level 113 Thar Eross' Sedulous ring. I've got five or six socketed at the moment - not that I need that many to max Trading and Forging but the mf and critical are awesome. :)
