I notice that many of you think dual wield dont need sowrd lore and etc.
I think its not truth.Maybe this changed after last patch im not sure .
So for example : you have toon on 50 lvl you have dual wield and using two sword lvl 55 or 60 its says in sword statistic its slow you down. And here comes specific lore , wich reduct this slowing down efect .
Personaly i didnt test that very much , and i m not sure is this specific lore can incress speed if get higher then 10 but 10 points on giving all u need to reduct slowing down efect for new item .
So maybe its not very important to get specific lore for dual wield but sword lore or axe lore can be very helpfull. You can pick that skill when u done your build and dont realy know wat to take as next skill.
specific lore can also give bonus in posibility to use something like aranuma or some 2handed axe if you wont find anything good for dual wield :D .It is becouse most of dual wield characters use agility so it looks like working not bad with 2handed too.

I made a little "research" with a DE about this. For a DE both DW and BC increase AS, and for Fistblades also UC. And you were the one that helped me with this test, thx flaash.

See the SiF thread here (http://forum.sacredeng.ascaron-net.com/showthread.php?t=42427)

I took Moon's post on SIF and edited to add my thoughts for clarity.
Am I right? Am I wrong? I'm sure someone will correct me! ;) {My additions are in [] brackets}

Ok, I made a little test about this, took a new lvl 1 DE (naked, no items at all), chosed DW as one of my starting skill, took 2 fistblades and 2 du'blades and lvled him up to lvl 6.

With 1 point in DW the fistblades [UC] and du'blades [BC] has the AS of 146

Adding BC as skill (1 point)
[so we have 1 DW, 1 BC]
the fistblades [UC] and du'blades [BC] has the AS of 152 [hunh? shouldn't they be different now?]

Adding Unarmed as skill (1 point)
[so we have 1 DW, 1BC, 1 UC]
the fistblades [UC] gets the AS of 158, the du'blades [BC] stays at 152.

Adding 1 more point into all these skills
[so we ahve 2 DW, 2 UC, 2 BC]
gives fistblades [UC] AS 167, the du'blades [BC] AS 158.

Adding 1 more point into these skills once again,
[so we have 3 DW, 3 UC, 3 BC]
gives the fistblades [UC] AS 179, the du'blades [BC] AS 166.

So I guess the bug is still here then.

Big thanks to flaishman for helping me with this test!

So this answers the attack speed by saying: 2 weapons governed by DW skill, single weapon governed by appropriate Combat skill (or Sword Lore or Axe Lore or Long Handled Weapons).

Is that right? Or am I out to lunch again. ***mmmm cookies!!!***
