That evil nefarious Spider took his beating from our gang later on in his name though, they pulled off every one of his over spawned leveleightysomethinginasilverserver legs while he kicked and screamed.
We even got the spider's last tortured screams as a memento for him ;)

That explosion looks more like Diablo 2's Necromancer Corpse Explosion.

I was on the server when masteff had his unfortunate spider encounter. I witnessed the unusual bug of seeing his body on the isle while his corpse was somewhere in the desert.

I was going thru Hell's Ridge at the time, so I'm sure I did not generate that super spider at monster level 80. My regrets to masteff's Gladiator, and hopefully his experience will help him to build a stronger one.
