Hey guys!
I just posted a question over at FDM over here:
http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=4178&hl=
heh, the ebolts daemon is comin along pretty nicely...
now, here comes the greedy optimization of her I guess, cuz this changing forms time it takes fer daemons is a real turn off.
Anyone here got any ideas?
Thanks!

Gogo I have a pure Battle Daemon(no other skills taken). I have it sitting at around 185 or so. I think that with the way I have it decked out it has reached its max. I use dual wield with fads axes. No particular unique sets. I must have a look at her again, she's been sitting for anout six months now.

Excellent Dags, and thank you so much fer responding so fast!
If this idea works, wow...finally i get get rid of that ridiculous extra form changing time for an addtional form AND...MUHHAHA, I can actually get to right click, very quickly, an Assail from her AND squeeze off an aditional CA from her as just using ebolts is totally fun I just wanna see how much I can squeeze out of a true hybrid daemon this way.
Cheers!

Only one daemon-transformation form is allowed at the same time.
when battle-daemon form is activated via full dralkcib's, and you activate energy-form eg. ...
then your b-form is automatically disabled for the time you're in e-form.
when e-form ends, b-form starts automatically again
Also, the level of the daemon's battle-form is not the same b-form lvl you have normally (runes+items) ... it's calculated in a different way, and much more lower most of the time.
can't find the forumla atm but it has to do with your current charlvl as well
also, you will have to give your 2 nice prototypes away for full dralkcib's.. and the sword/shield of the set is no good alternative imho..
full dralkcib's may be a good choice for a save spell-caster , like a pure BD daemon. because battle-form also increases phys dmg of the disks (although it shouldn't) so you have all runes you find free to use for CoD, IP, etc...
when you plan to use battle-form and attack(assail?) - then you may want to use claws. all other weaopns and their attack animations are waaay too slow imho.
have you asked Therion X already btw? ;)
(when there's something i'm not, then it's a daemon-specialist :o )

Fantastic...this is EXACTLY what I wanted to know..whether it would fall back to this physical daemon form.
The ebolts daemon is, interestingly enough, specced out AS a physical hitter for her to make her bolts work well.
Weaponlore
Conc
Phys regen
So why not look for more benefits from what I am putting the most amount of points into?
muhahah
As such, it's making for the most strangest wonderful hybrid I've ever worked on.
I am speccing with the Most powerful bolts first and then giving all leftovers to slowly "fool" this daemon into using magical spells as well
If I can have her bring in an assail on top of this, then wow...I'd just love to see how this goes.
Thanks Rotluchs, I'll keep you guys up to date on this pretty cool hybrid so far.
cheers!
:)
