Weak Daemon

My Daemon (L91) was playing with Rianne this morning and it was seriously embarrassing that her Sera could kill monsters faster than my toon but was about 15 levels lower. The first thing I did was run out and buy a heavy horse but how do I get that damage level up.

The Daemon is using a Aarnum sword (L46:( ) socketed with all the rings.
Skills: Meditation; Hellpower; Magic lore; Weapon Lore; Sword lore;
Agility; Constitution; Concentration (mistake)

The Weapon is only 2687-3578
If I don't use Infernal Power (serious lag problems), it takes Forever to kill monsters. She's become totally reliant on Blazing Discs.

Socket Daemon runes for 10% fire damage boost.
Socket rings (someone else shops for) that boost fire damage >10%.
Keep all rings that drop that have a fire damage boost that is better than you're using.
Invest in Daemon Form: Fire Form. It is a buff (duration > recharge)...level it up and keep it maxed (duration > recharge).

IP should be as high as you can make it. That is your main damage booster.

Keep as many discs as you can active. Some like to have 3 going (easy to do when regen is 1/4 of duration.) Others like one disc that does more damage when it hits (quicker kills, but less coverage).

Cast IP before casting your BD. I sometimes put IP in a combo (using an all spell +X combo suit to give it 22 more levels than normal)

Have your BD slot boosting only BD levels, your IP slot only boosting IP, and switch to Aarnum's...wait.

Hmmm.. Now I gotta test...does the Aarnum's have to be in the slot you cast BD from? Or the slot in action when the enemies are hit? (I don't have this problem with my DE. His Aarnum's slot is for Explosive Charge..but that is one hit wonder.)

Purringcat, not sure if this would help but i'm following Therion's excellent guide from the SIF which you can find here (http://forum.sacredeng.ascaron-net.com/showthread.php?t=43235)

If you have still got soaring daemon at lvl one then it may not be to late to make a combo of it and follow his guide. Figuring that out was such a great discovery from him:) The video shows just how powerful she can be and can one hit kill dragons in niob:D

Have to rush to work not so sure how applicable it is you but thought it was worth mentioning as it may help.

What you need is a sols staff with all rings, I just happen to have a couple of staffs spare and I think enough rings to outfit one. if you are playing a Blazing Disk Daemon a sols staff is a must have. I'll give you one on the weekend unless I meet you online before that. I'll save one for you. What time GMT do you normally play?

Great advice everyone... thanks. Spent hours with my L95 trade/forge dwarf buying great jewelry and now the fire power/. Had some armor with +14 fire form and now it's rather respectable. But switching has slowed this toon to a crawl with no MF so the Dwarf will be hunting again.

Dags, doesn't that require long handed weapons? I just dumped one two days ago and it was red for me. Also, I've heard that it causes serious lag problems. I'm looking to keep my part in this weekends game non-laggy.

Some wonderful player just gave me 12 IP runes. WOW. It was wonderful and just because I gave him some BM set stuff. HC is the best. :)

No Maam it doesn't cause lag, it would have been red because you may not have have fitted in between minimum and maximum ranked to use it. No you don't need long handled weapons to use a sols staff, in fact any magic user can wield a sols staff. One of the sols rings that goes into the staff or worn on a finger gives LL plus + to XP. Another ring to keep your eye out for is Pandora's they also give LL and + to XP. I still need to know what time GMT that you play, I have chests for of Daemon equipment. One of my accounts is dedicated to Daemons alone with several more spread accross my other accounts. I'm pretty sure I could outfit you with just about everything you might need to make a good strong Daemon:)
