I have enver really understood it. WHEN do you cast it? When is it best used (type of monster?)....etc. And, any other info I can get about it.
Thanks!:D

What always worked for me is casting it right before casting War Cry. Greed greatly reduces armor, War Cry boosts it back up. Normally I would say the combined effect should be the same (due to the reflexivity of the multiplication operator) but it isn't. And the time to cast it... Well.. I've got it on all the time. I'm a greedy bastard after all. And I pay special attention to it whenever I am about to take a boss or two, three to kingdom come.
Be aware that some areas start dropping so many items with Greed on that some items might be hidden below others (Tristram is a good example - when you kill the zombies with Greed active there's a very good chance you have to pick up the crap items to find the good stuff hidden underneath)

Just to be a bit clearer: Greed drops your defense.
If you cast War Cry afterwards, you'll end up with a higher defense with both active than if you cast the War Cry first, then the Greed.
Resistances are unaffected by Greed, so, Dwarven Armour and Entrench still do their thing.
I've noted only that Thar Eross set is very low in Poison and Fire Resistance...so maybe TRADE/FORGE dwarves need to boost those resistances with Dwarven Armour?

I would highly believe that any Dwarf like my recent misadventure to level 100 who focuses on Trade and Forge also NEEDS Dwarven Armor. I was noticing resistance problems even with my skills at half the character level or higher AND having several items with +resists. I see Dwarven Armour being the same needed Combat Art just like Adrenaline is for the Dark Elf.
