I'm at the moment around lvl 70 with my BM using IS, RoI.
What can I do to get as much damage as possible from my Spells ?
Rings ?
Ammuletts ?
Blacksmith arts ?
+ to IS and RoI ?
+ to Magic lote ?
etc...

I have made a few BM's using those spells, and what I find for best chance of survival is socketing all ammys that you can find, with highest % regen spells, and "+" to all spells. This way you can dump lots of runes into your spells and they will have good regen times. Don't forget using stoneskin or shield wall to protect yourself while fighting. I prefer stoneskin for the added poison resistance, others feel different. Its all in your own preference.
Also, don't forget, RoI(ring of ice) stacks, and does massive damage at higher lvls. My next favorite BM is RoI and meteor....lots of fun!
One more thing, I have always felt higher resistances are more important than high defense, but it is no doubt good to have both.
(Sinc is right....you need to find "+" to spells items also, using both is very important.)

hehe good combo, thats my guy too ;) I tend to ignore IS for RoI though. I'm using trade atm to find a lot of rings/ammys to socket with spell regen, magic damage and also +water magic/meditation/magic lore as well as the spells themselves. It can also be an idea (unless you find better stuff) to try and get hold of a Blackstaffs set.
